Maggie Murdoch

Maggie’s fanciful botanical work is inspired by the natural world of growth and change. The work piques your imagination and conjures up forest and ocean floors - even deserts. The pieces are fantasy. They are not meant to represent any particular flora or fauna and are not created for any particular use but for
imagination’s sake. They are made with a combination of methods... wheel-thrown, slab, coil, and carving. Maggie uses many glazes in combination and several methods of application including dipping, pouring, spraying, brush and syringe.
